India is quickly becoming a powerhouse in high-performance computing thanks to the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) propelling it forward.

Leading the charge is PARAM Shivay, the first supercomputer built entirely in India, followed by PARAM Shakti, PARAM Brahma, PARAM Yukti, and PARAM Sanganak.

In the realm of Quantum Computing, numerous initiatives are underway to train students and researchers, such as the National Mission for Quantum Frontier and the National Mission on Quantum Technologies and Applications, along with the Quantum Computing Applications Lab.

When it comes to Blockchain Technology, India has established the National Blockchain Framework, a comprehensive infrastructure that includes blockchain-as-a-service, geographically distributed nodes, and initiatives to raise awareness and develop human resources.

An exciting development is the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology, launched in 2023 as a collaboration between India and the U.S. This framework focuses on critical technologies like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum computing, and wireless telecommunication.

And let’s not forget India’s achievements in Science and Technology! As a key member of the ‘International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor’, India stands to benefit greatly from the success of this experiment. Imagine the possibilities – using thorium instead of uranium for power generation, achieving a global role in satellite navigation, improving the efficiency of fission reactors, and even building fusion reactors for power generation. The future is bright for India in the world of science and technology!
