The International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) Delhi has launched two AICTE-approved online Postgraduate Certificate Programmes on Monday: one in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the other in Public Health Financial Management at an event on December 2, 2024. These programmes aim to provide healthcare professionals with specialised expertise to address critical challenges in healthcare management and operations.
The event ‘Industry-Academia Confab’ organised by IIHMR Delhi which sought to explore innovative strategies to transform the healthcare sector and foster a sustainable future through collaborationsaw a significant turnout of industry leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic experts among others.
Dr. Sutapa Bandyopadhyay Neogi, Director of IIHMR Delhi, outlined the details of the programs. She highlighted that the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program focuses on enhancing supply chain efficiency and addressing operational challenges in healthcare, while the Public Health Financial Management program equips professionals with vital skills in financial resource management and budgeting for public health systems.
Dr. Neogi further stated, “The Industry-Academia Confab is a platform for connecting thought leaders and sparking ideas that drive progress in healthcare. With nearly 100 industry leaders in attendance, it underscores the importance of collaboration in overcoming sector challenges. The launch of these programs is a key step in our commitment to providing impactful education for healthcare professionals.”
Throughout the event, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as digital health transformation, policy innovation, and the development of sustainable healthcare systems.
