Located just 9 km away from Guwahati Railway Station, Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Mandir is a stunning Hindu Temple nestled in the Ahom Gaon area of Guwahati, Assam. This temple is a must-visit for anyone exploring the spiritual side of Guwahati.

Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Mandir was constructed in 1998 and covers a vast area of 2 acres. The temple is a magnificent replica of the original Tirupati Balaji Temple, boasting a striking white color and architectural style reminiscent of South Indian temples. As you enter the temple complex, you’ll be greeted by a majestic Rajagopuram standing at 70 feet tall, leading you to the Maha Mandapam, Ardha Mandapam, and the Sanctorum.

At the entrance, you’ll find a charming Ganesha Temple, while the main attraction is the Lord Balaji Temple. The deity inside the sanctum sanctorum is a breathtaking sight, carved from a single stone weighing over 4 tonnes. Additionally, the temple houses shrines for Goddess Padmavati and Garuda, the vahana of Lord Balaji. A recent addition to the complex is the Yagasala, designed in a traditional style for devotees to perform Yagnas.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Mandir during its opening hours from 7 AM to 11 AM and 3.30 PM to 8 PM. Immerse yourself in the divine atmosphere and experience the spiritual energy that radiates from this sacred place.
