Sharing details, Pandit Ritesh Mishra said the first event will be held on April 24, 2026, at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre at 6.30 p.m., where leading artistes from across the country will present musical tributes.

The performers for the evening include Pandit Bhola Nath Mishra (vocal), Adnan Khan (sitar), Juheb Ahmed Khan (tabla), Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami (sarangi), Jai Shankar Mishra (tabla), and Zakir Dholpuri (harmonium). The programme will be hosted by Radhika Mishra and coordinated by Ritbhavi Productions.

The second event is scheduled for April 25, 2026, at the Sunbeam Lahartara Campus, also at 6.30 p.m. The Varanasi leg will feature performances by Divya Sharma and Pandit Anup Mishra, along with a sitar recital by Pandit Narendra Mishra.

Tabla accompaniment will be provided by Shrikant Mishra and Pandit Rajesh Mishra, while Pandit Pankaj Mishra will accompany on harmonium.

The organisers said the tribute aims to honour the enduring musical legacy of Pandit Rajan Mishra and to reaffirm the relevance of the Banaras Gharana in contemporary classical music. They added that the events will bring together established artistes and audiences in a shared celebration of India’s classical heritage.
